Welcome to Atlanta Free Press (AFP)!

Atlanta's new, premier LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) online and print media, AFP is an organization that increases awareness of LGBT issues and serves as a medium to unify and strengthen the community. Our team brings years of publishing and journalism experience in order to report on the much needed and desired events/news for LGBT in Atlanta.

Drawing from a national network of members supporting the community, AFP is the voice of the community.

We are working zealously to fill the void left by the unexpected closing of Southern Voice and David.

Our goal is simple - get back to the basics of serving the community by becoming the go-to source for news, event, and community outreach. The information we will be disseminating to you is more than gay issues and events but rather a collaborative voice for our under-served community.
